Riley's 8

Today Riley turned 8!! She got to get baptized on her birthday... Unfortunately it didn't work out so well for some of our family members. I figured it would be easier for me to remember in the future that she was baptized on her birthday. I didn 't think how it would effect everyone's schedule. So sorry to everyone who couldn't make it!

Snow Day!

Last night we got a lot of snow, so the kids decided to have some fun in it today! They got out of school on friday due to the snow, so it has been a long weekend. It's nice when they can burn some energy outside. This is the first time Aiden has worn his coat outside, he has hated wearing his coat since he was a baby. I feel embarrassed to go in public with him without his coat, people probably think we are horrible parents, since he never has his on!

The kids have 2 weeks off of school, so hopefully they will find things to do to keep them entertained, the only problem with snow is they go in and out of the house, and it takes longer to get their snow clothes on than it does for them to play. Times like this I am wishing we had a mud room!
