I guess you could say we aren't your typical family, instead of our kids doing traditional sports, they do rodeo. This is really the first year our kids have done it. Chase has done pretty well for his first year, he is a little hard on himself, because the other kids his age do so well. The kids in rodeo are amazing, they have grown up on horses, which Chase pretty much has too, but we just haven't had him in the competitive part of rodeo. Riley and Grace are up above doing the rubber head roping. It has been fun to go and watch them, but we have been busy. I was hoping this summer would be more relaxing, and that I could do some more reading, but that hasn't happened.
Casey and Jesse and my brother in law Daniel and his friend Mike did the Shoshone ranch rodeo. It was the first one they have done, and it was pretty fun watching. The funnest part is watching the trailer loading, it gets pretty funny. Jesse is the crazy one who will ride stock saddle.

To top it off, the kids had swimming lessons. Aiden and Laynee were in level 1, and Riley was in level 4. They all passed but Laynee, which I was surprised because it seemed she was cooperating more than Aiden was. So I wonder if they passed him so they wouldn't have to deal with him again next year! Aiden pretty much stayed by the stairs, he doesn't like to get his face wet!
