Before the crack of dawn.....

Christmas Eve the kids open their pajamas.... it's a good thing because Aiden and Laynee like to run around in their underwear!

We had to get up extra early (2 A.M.) for Christmas this year since it was on a Friday.... they are Casey's busy day so he has to leave extra early. Aiden actually didn't go to bed, we had to make sure he didn't catch Santa deliver the presents.
Chase is proud of his cowboy cuffs!

Goedhart Family Christmas Party

We had our family Christmas party at Gini's house. It was a lot of fun, Uncle Mike can keep you entertained all night long!

Another year older

Riley turned 9, and she planned her own party with her friends. It was funny she sent out the invitations herself, then told me later what she did!

I re-decorated Riley's room for her Birthday. She decided she wanted pink and brown so those were the colors we went with.

This was what her room looked like before, I had painted her dresser with purple flowers on it, and decided it was a bad idea after changing her colors. I had to repaint it and stuck with white.... you can never go wrong with white!

LBRA Rodeo

This weekend was the LBRA rodeo for the kids. It was a long cold day, but they had fun. Chase rode bareback, and Riley did barrels..... or I should say tried to ride barrels. She hasn't been riding for a while because of the weather, and so she was pretty nervous. She only made it around 2 barrels, then Cuatro kind of jumped going around the second barrel, and Riley got scared. Chase was excited to do bareback, but as soon as he got out of the chute, his horse tripped and made him go flying over it's head. Then the horse stepped on his legs. Luckily he didn't get hurt, just lots of bruises. After the rodeo Casey and Jesse got to be pick up men for the older kids who wanted to practice riding broncs. So they had fun. By the end of the day I couldn't feel my toes, thankfully Bobby watched Aiden and Laynee for me or else they would have been freezing!

Sorry the pictures aren't very good, it's so dark in that arena and dirty that my camera picks up the dirt specs better than anything else.

Church Christmas party

We had our ward Christmas party, and the kids were in the program. All of the kids were supposed to be in it, but Aiden and Chase were too cool or stubborn to participate, so only Laynee and Riley were in it. Laynee wouldn't wear her angel outfit, but at least she got on stage!

My baby is 3!

Laynee is 3 now, she is getting so big. It's funny how it goes by so fast when it's your youngest one. I remember with Chase it seemed like I wanted him to grow up so fast! Now with the rest of the kids, it is going way too fast. I just love the way she talks now, it is so cute. Today she kept telling me... mom I want to watch no wipe over and over. Finally I figured out what she was saying... she wanted to watch snow white. She is such a girl, she loves the Disney princesses, and loves fairy's. I just wish she would stay little longer!

The Buckaroos

Casey and Chase have been riding a lot lately, usually if the weather is good they'll go out and ride. They have been wanting me to come out with them, but I am not one for standing in the cold while chasing two little kids around. So they took the camera the other day and took some pictures to show me what I have been missing!
