Chase's birthday

Chase has turned eleven. Time is flying by, I can't believe it. Chase and Wyatt found some baby coyotes in the field by Gini's house, and reached in the hole and grabbed some babies out. So they took them to Gini's house and are going to try to raise them. We'll see how this works out. They are pretty wild, and two of them already escaped!

We went to the city of rocks and later on it started to pour rain on us. We went there for a ward party, and it happened to be on Chase's birthday. We went there 4 years ago for his birthday and it hailed on us that time.


We took Chase and his friends to Niagra for his birthday, they're busy searching for creatures to take home!

Our Gymnast!

Riley has learned how to do her back handsprings in gymnastics. She has been begging me to post a video of her doing her doing them. I have to say that once she learned how to do them, she is doing really good, she can do two in a row!

Family Pictures

We had Jamie Bangerter take our family pictures for us, and she did such a good job. I definately would recommend her! We've never had family pictures before, so I figured it would be a good Mother's Day present for me. I just wanted to post some more of the pictures she took.

Once the kids discovered the dandelions they were on a mission to blow all of them.

We had these taken down where we live in Kanaka Rapids. That's the one thing I can't complain about living here is that it's pretty!

Branding the cows

Today the cows had to get branded, vaccinated, ear tagged, and castrated. Good thing cows are tough! Luke was the designated brander, Casey and Daniel got to rope the cows in, and Chase and Wyatt were the assistants!

Rocky Mountain Oysters...yum yum!

When you have boys, they don't let anything go to waste. After they helped castrate the bulls, they took the nuts, or the "Rocky Mountain Oysters" and had fun cooking them . I think if we had a clean pan to cook them in, they might have seriously considered eating them!
